A brief, text-only set of instructions for troubleshooting common errors with a library link resolver.
From the Introduction: Why Do I Need a Policy?
Every library — academic, public, and school (public, private, charter, independent, and international) — should have a comprehensive written policy that guides the selection, deselection or weeding, and reconsideration of library resources. The most valuable selection policy is current; it is reviewed and revised on a regular basis; and it is familiar to all members of a library’s staff. The policy should be approved by the library’s governing board or other policy-making body and disseminated widely for understanding by all stakeholders.

They will sort the data, create functions to analyze the data, and insert a chart.

How long will the fidget spinner spin? This 3 Act Task by Graham Fletcher begins with a short portion of a video with a fidget spinner in motion. First students make observations and estimates to begin determining how long the fidget spinner will be in motion. Students are then given the total number of spins and the average spins per second. Using division of a 4 digit dividend by a 1 digit divisor and conversion skills, students calculate the amount of time the spinner will spin.

Students explore the legal and ethical dimensions of respecting creative work. First, they learn a basic foundation of legal principles and vocabulary related to copyright. They understand how such factors as the rules of copyright law, the values and intent of the original creator, and the audience and purpose should affect their decisions about using the creative work of others. Using the Mad Men Student Handout, students then apply these principles to a simulation activity in which they act as advertising executives who have to choose a photo for an ad campaign.
