This is a marketing plan that students can develop for something they are interested in making/selling. This was used at our school when our tech ed department was having the students make prototypes. Then in the math department we had them use these materials to make a marketing plan to see if the price they wanted to sell their prototypes was reasonable. They are able to find how long it will take for them to start making a profit and are able to make adjustments along the way.
A collection of activity guides about the solar system. Would be best geared toward students 3rd - 8th grade. Some activities could be done in school some done at home. Varies the tools required but many are done with household products or pen and paper. (More accessible)
This website by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality clearly explains the common communication barriers in a medical setting, along with techniques to overcome them. Language, hearing, and visual barriers can be overcome by visuals, video aids, written instructions, and medical interpreters. The website provides directions on how to facilitate conversation between the patient, medical professional, and translator. As an interactive activity, students should role-play how they would introduce each communication technique to a patient when there is a communication barrier. By reading and role-playing, students should feel confident communicating with patients through the use of communication aids.
Many students are at different points in your post-secondary planning process. This guide provides the opportunity to utilize resources that ensure they are moving forward with the process and documents their progress.
This professionalism guide by The American Board of Pediatrics helps students learn about positive behaviors in a healthcare setting. The website provides a detailed description of positive work behaviors and professionalism in a healthcare setting. As students review this section, they should create a list. It also provides some examples of negative work behaviors in a healthcare setting so students can distinguish between positive and negative behaviors. The website also provides 7 vignettes to use as an interactive activity. Students can be split into small groups and given one vignette, and then they can discuss what a positive, professional response would look like to each scenario. The goal of this activity is to prepare students to act professionally and positively in a healthcare job.
This CDC website is ideal for teaching students procedures and protocols related to bioterrorism emergencies. First, the CDC lists five specific bioterrorism agents. When you click on each agent, the website explains how health centers, communities, and the CDC are preparing for possible bioterrorism attacks. As an interactive activity, students can be split into groups of five. Each group member can use this website to research the protocols of one of the bioterrorism agents. Then, students can share their findings with the group. The goal of this exercise is for students to learn more about bioterrorism emergencies and the preparation that different health centers do for possible bioterrorism.
This resource consists of two .zip files that have reading guides for the College Physics textbook at openstax.org. Each zip file has Word documents for the standard first and second semester set of topics for a year-long freshman level college physics course. The reading guides summarize the key points, provide extra explanations, and pose questions for the student. The reading guides were written for the first edition of the textbook. Permission is granted for free use and editing of the reading guides.

Welcome to the URF Academy, a free resource for educators who seek to encourage and inspire the next generation of game designers.
Our Game Design Curriculum is our way to share our love for and knowledge of games to students everywhere. We designed it with accessibility top of mind—any teacher with access to the internet and a printer should be able to teach students how to design a fun game.
In our six-module curriculum, we outline the principles of game design using a simple framework and explore concepts through engaging workshops and activities. Students will learn about the language and theory necessary to engage deeply with games and ultimately collaborate in groups to design a paper prototype of a multiplayer game.
History: In 2016, a group of Rioters launched URF Academy, an interactive game design workshop for high school students at our headquarters in Los Angeles. URF Academy’s goals were to teach local students about fundamental concepts in game design and showcase the breadth of careers in the gaming industry.
After hosting more than 500 students over the course of two years, we expanded URF to several regional offices, including St. Louis, Dublin, Sydney, São Paulo, and Mexico City. Simultaneously, we began co-developing a free, online curriculum with two veteran computer science and game design educators to empower teachers to provide high quality game design instruction to high school students around the world.
Cash Drawer Form - Requires students to record each type of money and add together. This helps student add more consistently as numbers are written down and allows for easier money tracking for errors for the teacher.

The Mathematics Vision Project (MVP) curriculum has been developed to realize the vision and goals of the New Core Standards of Mathematics. The Comprehensive Mathematics Instruction (CMI) framework is an integral part of the materials. You can read more about the CMI framework in the Utah Mathematics Teacher Journal. (UCTM, 2009)
"I'd like to suggest the educational technology resource: SpinnerWheel.com
Spinner Wheel is a free online tool that allows for a flexible and engaging approach to learning. It has many use-cases for any subject.
All entries on wheels are fully editable and one of the main things that makes it so useful is the ability to create multiple wheels for use at one time.
An example use of Spinner Wheel for mathematics: https://spinnerwheel.com/mental-mathematics-quiz
and for creative writing: https://spinnerwheel.com/short-burst-writing-ideas-generator
From creating multiple random number generators to equitably selecting students from a group, the possibilities for using this resource in a learning environment are practically endless."
