From the Scratch Wiki:
"Scratch contains the resources available for creating a question/answer system. This system can be used for one to be 'quizzed', or to repetitively answer automated questions. This tutorial shows various methods on how to create a question system. For each method, the ask () and wait block is used to ask questions and input answers."

Use these blocks to teach students to create a quiz for many different concepts and disciplines.

A great article from University of Stevens Point on how library instruction aides graduation rates for students. This is being placed in the Wiselearn resources as Community Partnerships as I partner with this librarian for instructional purposes for all our University bound seniors. The study found that students who had direct instruction on how to use the library, stayed in school longer at the post-secondary level, and had a higher graduation rate than their peers who did not enroll in the Library instructional class.

This course is designed to prepare you for a successful student teaching experience. Some of the major themes and activities are: analysis of yourself as a teacher and as a learner, subject knowledge, adolescent development, student learning styles, lesson planning, assessment strategies, classroom management techniques and differentiated instruction. The course requires significant personal involvement and time. Helping student select information resources in a digital/technological environment is crucial as we move forward to library planning.
I would use this as part of a lesson on using Badgerlink and, more specifically, Explora resources.  This can be used as a culminating activity after you have already taught the students how to use Explora and can be used to assess how well the students have learned what you have taught.  Pair children up to complete the scavenger hunt as teams.  Provide prizes or badges for completion.

This interactive template was created for HIBBs module developers or users of HIBBs in training activities as a tool to create a simple game for any content. Game adaptors can identify the content to be covered, create questions and answers for each gameboard block, and paste them into the game template. The game can be used in a classroom setting with teams of players competing against each other or it can be modified for use by an independent learner as an aid in reviewing material. Instructions for adapting the game: 1) Select the content to be learned from a Health Informatics textbook, class lecture, or other learning resource; 2) Create questions and answers for each block on the gameboard; 3) Have questions and answers reviewed by a content specialist; 4) Replace existing questions and answers by pasting your content into the game template.
