A great article from University of Stevens Point on how library instruction aides graduation rates for students. This is being placed in the Wiselearn resources as Community Partnerships as I partner with this librarian for instructional purposes for all our University bound seniors. The study found that students who had direct instruction on how to use the library, stayed in school longer at the post-secondary level, and had a higher graduation rate than their peers who did not enroll in the Library instructional class.

Ed Puzzle is a superpower!  It allows you to upload virtually an video and crop it. Then you can add questions, comments or audio to the video.  Your students will then view the video and answer the questions.  When you create your account, if you use google classroom, your classes will automatically load, including your student list. This can be used for any subject.

This course is designed to prepare you for a successful student teaching experience. I would use this as part of a lesson on using Badgerlink and, more specifically, Explora resources.  This can be used as a culminating activity after you have already taught the students how to use Explora and can be used to assess how well the students have learned what you have taught.  Pair children up to complete the scavenger hunt as teams.  Provide prizes or badges for completion.

This interactive template was created for HIBBs module developers or users of HIBBs in training activities as a tool to create a simple game for any content. Game adaptors can identify the content to be covered, create questions and answers for each gameboard block, and paste them into the game template. The game can be used in a classroom setting with teams of players competing against each other or it can be modified for use by an independent learner as an aid in reviewing material.
