1.) Theory Learning Goals:
a.) Understanding theoretical perspectives in academic administration, finance and management including the Microtechnique constructions TORI and noesis as well as some organizational principles from General System Theory Squared, GST2, (GST2 by Lindblom). The course is in exploration of complex systems thinking (Microtechnique) (in The Psychology of Administration and Management and includes elements from The Psychology of Consciousness for the purposes of hypothesis foundation and elements from General System Theory Squared (GST2) for method.
b.) Assessment and appraisal of Microtechnique scholarly research and writing in areas of psychology.

2.) Learning Goals:
a.) General application of psychological theory in Microtechnique management.
b.) Reflection on application of Microtechnique theory and design methodology in theoretical research and action research including practical investigation of ideas, norms, and change strategies in Management.

This 6-week lesson is used to expand vocabulary related to the world of work, including education, professions, job search, interviews, and life milestones related to education and work.  It focuses on communication using the future tense.   It culminates with a Career Fair, in which students practice professional discourse and etiquette  while talking with professionals in different fields to explore careers in which Spanish can be used, followed up with a Professional Thank-You Letter written in Spanish to the Career Fair guest speakers.

This article provides perceptions of academically resilient students with low-income backgrounds of school counselors. It gives counselors a sense of how students may see them and what they can do to strengthen their school counseling techniques to help increase academic performance.

Academic and Career Planning (ACP) is a process intended to provide academic and career planning services to students in grades 6-12 in public schools across the state. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) contracted with the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative (WEC) at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) to conduct a three-year evaluation of the pilot and roll-out of ACP. This report contains the findings from the 2015-16 pilot year evaluation and WEC’s recommendations based on those findings. The evaluation included three major components of data collection and analysis: telephone interviews with pilot team coordinators, surveys of all pilot team members, and mini-case studies of four pilot districts.

Key findings from the 2017 ACP evaluation report include: Administrator buy-in is key to program success. • Some teachers still resist ACP based on fears of increased workload and lack of expertise. • Some stakeholders are uncertain and suspicious about the future of ACP, compliance, and monitoring. • Students value ACP programming and want it to be rigorous, encompassing, and personalized. • Students often do not see the full reach of ACP outside of dedicated ACP time. • Family knowledge of ACP is generally low; families want to know what they can do to better support their children. • Districts experience difficulties in sharing knowledge about ACP with local and regional businesses. • Districts want to better understand and communicate about outcomes

In this lesson, students will be able to analyze their career readiness (identifying potential areas of strength and areas of growth) using the DPI Employability Skills criteria. Using students' step length to understand the relationship between distance, speed and acceleration. Includes graphing of data and interpretation of graphs.

Students make a wheel and axle out of cardboard and a wooden dowel. It is rooled along a ramp made of parallel meter sticks, and the acceleration can be made small enough to make accurate measurements and calculations.

Students work as physicists to understand centripetal acceleration concepts. They also learn about a good robot design and the accelerometer sensor. They also learn about the relationship between centripetal acceleration and centripetal force governed by the radius between the motor and accelerometer and the amount of mass at the end of the robot's arm. Students graph and analyze data collected from an accelerometer, and learn to design robots with proper weight distribution across the robot for their robotic arms. Upon using a data logging program, they view their own data collected during the activity. By activity end , students understand how a change in radius or mass can affect the data obtained from the accelerometer through the plots generated from the data logging program. More specifically, students learn about the accuracy and precision of the accelerometer measurements from numerous trials.

Acceso is a complete, interactive curriculum for intermediate-level learners of Spanish. The materials on the site are provided freely to the public and are intended as a replacement for commercial textbooks, which are generally ill-suited to the learning outcomes now considered crucial to successful language study. With the understanding that instructional materials matter, a team of ELA teachers from the Sheboygan Area School District set out to develop a process that would enable us to determine if the materials being used or materials we plan to use in the future are considered to be high-quality resources and will lead to equitable instruction.

The resources supplied were developed as a result of research and investigation into the work of EdReport.org, Achievethecore.org and various other resources that support the work of equity.

The process that we outline is intended to help teams evaluate resources that support major shifts in the Common Core State Standards specific to writing instruction. The tools linked in the process are adaptable to various grade levels and subject areas providing the team has unpacked the subject/grade level standards and share a common understanding of the skills and expectations in those standards.

An accident reconstructionist uses multiple variables to determine a vehicles speed at impact during an accident.  This activity investigates those variables and uses them to determine the speed of a vehcile during an accident.

Students form literature circles, read "Esperanza Rising" or "Becoming Naomi Leon" by Pam MuĐoz Ryan, use a Critical Thinking Map to discuss social issues, and use a class wiki.

Students will be reinforcing and demonstrating their understanding of the steps in the accounting cycle for a service business by developing a unique project.  This group project encourages creativity and the use of technology.  Stucents will create a plan and timeline for completion.
