This activity has the students design a children's menu/activity mat while using Adobe products. This activity was performed by teaming up with a local family pa restaurant. A restaurant owner came into the classroom to teach a little bit about entrepreneurship and to communicate the exact needs of their menus that would be intended for children. The children would then use crayons to help entertain themselves while waiting for their meals.

In the first lesson, students measure the heights of classmates and older students and construct a table of height and age data to compare them. The second lesson's instructional goal is to understand how change in one variable, age, can relate to change in a second variable, height. Students groups create scientific research posters to professionally present the results of their AQ-IQ research projects, which serves as a conclusion to the unit. (This activity is also suitable to be conducted independently from its unit—for students to make posters for any type of project they have completed.) First, students critically examine example posters to gain an understanding of what they contain and how they can be made most effective for viewers. Then they are prompted to analyze and interpret their data, including what statistics and plots to use in their posters.
