A multimedia 1st-year German language program based on videos of native speakers and the UT Summer Program in WŸrzburg, Germany. The online textbook includes recorded vocabulary, phonetics lessons, an online grammar component, online comparative polls and internet writing activities.

In this investigation the students will look at the fossils they made previously. They will look at the details of the fossil with a hand lens and come up with conclusions about the fossils. They will record what they see and draw conclusions about the environment of the fossil.

The activities in this lesson will help students compare and understand the three types of fossils: preserved organisms, mineral replacement fossils, and impression fossils.

Students will use their knowledge about fossils to arrange fossil pictures in sequence from oldest to youngest.

Students will act as paleontologists and attempt to figure out the environment where various fossils would have existed.

In this investigation students will be looking at different items to see if they can recognize fossils. This will be an introduction to the different fossils they will be studying later.

The website physics.gpclements.com has annotated lists of YouTube videos for both semesters of introductory physics. The lecture videos follow the order in the OpenStax Physics textbook. The level is suitable for high school and college students. There is a short (15 minutes or so) lecture for each topic and example problems that are worked out step by step. The site also lists a few calculus level physics videos. There is no charge for viewing the YouTube videos.

Motivated by the need to integrate curricular needs in K-5 classrooms and as a result of technology budget cuts, Pleasanton Elementary School students use a variety of free software applications to produce digital media projects that address reading, writing, collaboration and technology skills. In this way, learning becomes more meaningful and relevant for students.Using free programs and Apple software included on their computers, students choose to produce a life story, poem, tutorial or personal narrative in iMovie. In this video, students collaborate with one another and explain how they have created their movies. Final projects are then uploaded into students' digital portfolios.

This video resource explains and demonstrates how to plant Fast Plants in a bottle growing system made from recycled soda/water bottles was made by the instructors at UW-Madison who teach Biocore (a foundational undergraduate biology course). In this planting approach, vermiculite is used along with a soil-less potting mix (e.g. Redi-Earth).

Through Jim Sill's three TV and video classes, high school students learn a variety of video production skills. In the Introduction to Video Production class, students work on cross-curricular projects. They learn how to use equipment, write and edit scripts, and collaborate to produce videos. In the TV broadcasting class, students produce a news show that is watched across the school. In the Advanced Video Production class, students work with companies and non-profits in the community to produce videos. Through all of Jim's classes, students learn real-world skills as they collaborate to create innovative videos.
