30 Second PSA is designed to be a way to assess students on what was learned during their time in Health Class.  Students must put together a 30 second public service announcement about a topic covered in class and may work with another student to do so.  Topics are chosen by having a class discussion about what was covered over the course of the quarter/semester/etc.  Students can use any means they choose to demonstrate their knowledge (video, presentation, rap/poetry, skit, etc.) but it needs to be sussinct and to the point.  

Lesson activity will provide learning activity for a lead-up hockey skill (Striking, long implement). Offensive and defensive strategy, teamwork and sportsmanship are also an important aspect of the lesson.

Small group activity for studnets to work together to create and design a dance.  All students will create,

7 steps to shooting archery, finding eye dominance, scoring, whistle commands, parts of a bow and arrow, quiz, and score sheets for scoring.

This is a quick way to assess whether or not students can apply the 7 fundamental steps of archery after those steps have been taught and practiced.

This 12 session course is designed for the beginning or novice archer and uses recurve indoor target bows and equipment. The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the basic techniques of indoor target archery emphasizing the care and use of equipment, range safety, stance and shooting techniques, scoring and competition.

This is a great cooperative activity that allows students to meet and greet one another.

Can be used as a whole class warm-up. Integrats math. Can be easily modified.

This is a breakdown of the novel "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and is set up to move slow.  It is set up so that students are able to recall events within each reading as they are directly taken from the book.  This could be printed off for students to fill out or could be up loaded to google classroom for students to fill in.  

Students will analyze a photograph to learn about body image. They will also discuss how society views the human body in different cultures.

This Illuminations activity focuses on making predictions and the collection and analysis of data by having students take their pulse after different exercises. All individual data is collected in a classroom chart where the results are interpreted and conclusions drawn. The lesson includes a student worksheet and extension questions.

In this primary grades Illuminations lesson, students identify figures on a football field. They look for both congruent and similar figures, and they consider figures that are the same but that occur in a different orientation because of translation, rotation, or reflection. The lesson includes a student worksheet and discussion questions.

This lesson plan combines physical activity (jumping jacks) with data collection. The purpose of this activity is to compare and contrast the use of mean, median, and mode as the best measure of central tendency. The lesson plan includes three worksheets, extension questions, and assessment options.
