These pages are written for a student audience with opportunities for them to connect, explore, and engage with the nine focus areas in Green & Healthy Schools Wisconsin: Body & Mind, Community Engagement, Energy, Environmental Literacy, Healthy Buildings, School Grounds, Transportation, Waste, and Water.

This lesson introduces students to the skills needed to handle workplace accidents. First, use the briefing (found in Task 1) to teach students about this concept. Then, use the video (found in Task 2)  to spark classroom discussion. Then, have students conduct research and present their findings to the class. 6.780 covers statistical modeling and the control of semiconductor fabrication processes and plants. Topics include design of experiments, response surface modeling, and process optimization; defect and parametric yield modeling; process/device/circuit yield optimization; monitoring, diagnosis, and feedback control of equipment and processes; analysis and scheduling of semiconductor manufacturing operations.

This video from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health focuses on real teens in the workplace in regard to health and safety. It goes over employer/employee rights and responsibilities and discusses some ways to keep workplaces safe in various situations.
