This lesson plan is to help teachers implement SAEs into their Agricultural Education curriculum. The main goal of the lesson is to explain to students what an SAE is and why it is an important part of Agricultural Education and the 3-circle model. This lesson will help teachers introduce their students to SAE projects. This is a basic level lesson to help the teacher and students get SAEs started in their classroom. I would highly recommend visiting The National Council’s SAE page at ffa.org prior to teaching this lesson.
