Handling Workplace Accidents - Lesson and Activity

This lesson introduces students to the skills needed to handle workplace accidents. First, use the briefing (found in Task 1) to teach students about this concept. Then, use the video (found in Task 2)  to spark classroom discussion. Then, have students conduct research and present their findings to the class. In this group research project, students will select an industrial accident to research. They will also examine the OSHA regulations which weren't followed which could have contributed to the accident, as well as brainstorming possible ways the accident could have been avoided. Finally, students will find three workplace environments to examine using a Safety Quiz.
