The purpose of this activity is to show students that Career Matchmaker provides individualized feedback for their career choices based on how they answer a set of questions. Uses Career Cruising (Xello).

The purpose of this activity is to have students explore their career option results based upon their Career Matchmaker.

A PowerPoint presentation that will guide students through the first steps and the Match Maker feature in Career Cruising.

This template can be used for students to fill out in advance and use when they log into career cruising and create their resume in career cruising.

This activity is a fun way to start exploring career cruising and learn about the different features.

The Career Cruising Video Project encourages students to learn more about ten of their best-matched career choices.  An attachment in the resource library includes the career presentation requirements as well as the career presentation rubric. Waunakee Community High School students take a course called Career Workshop at the sophomore level.  They are required to choose two enhancement projects from a list of options.  Students have access to shared Google Docs related to these projects.  Career Cruising Video Project is one of these options.  Other options that may be found under WISELearn Resources include an Infographic, Web Portfolio, Career Presentation, Job Shadow, and Professional Interview.  

The purpose of this activity is for students to complete a half or full day job shadow in the chosen career field, interview, and submit reflection paper.
