  • Make a mould with Split Pattern.

Teacher will present the attached PPT and explain tools used in moulding and will show the actual tools.T, WG25 - 30 min.
Teacher will now explain the process of moulding using PPT.T, WG45 min
Teacher will now take students in the shop and demonstrate how to make a mould.T, WG45 min 
Divide students in small groups of 2 - 3 students and students will make a split-pattern mould.T, SMTime depend upon size of group and available equipment. Each group might take 45 min or so.

Assessment

Teacher will assess the pattern made by students.
