About me

I have taught elementary students in the Janesville School District for 37 years. I began teaching 6th and 5th grades, but have also taught 3rd and 4th grades as well. I am currently working in the 4th grade which requires a lot of preparation for the Wisconsin Forward Exam. I have a keen interest in incorporating agricultural lessons into my instruction as I grew up on a working dairy farm in western Wisconsin. I especially enjoy finding agricultural books to read to my students and then incorporating writing with agricultural topics by completing the Ag in the Classroom agricultural essay yearly. I have had many students produce winning essays for Rock County.
