About me
I am an Agricultural Education teacher and FFA Advisor. I have been teaching for 23 years. I teach a variety of courses to students in grades 6-12. I teach an introductory course to 6th grade students and then offer three elective courses to 7th and 8th grade students. At the high school level I cover everything from animal science to plant science with some food science, agribusiness management, biotechnology and natural resources classes in the mix. I am writing lessons to promote and assist teachers in incorporating careers and supervised agricultural experiences or SAEs for their students. There are three parts to Ag Ed; 1. Classroom instruction, 2. FFA and 3. SAE.
