Video Game Lo-fi Playlist: Get in the Work Groove!
by Chris Baker 1 month agoHey everyone,
I've been curating an instrumental video game soundtrack lo-fi playlist for years now, and have put it on in the background here and there at certain presentations and workgroup events while participants are convening or are working on an activity.
I've received a fair bit of interest from folks who've asked to access it. It's about 8 hours long (on Spotify), and I continue to curate it as I find new gems from favorite soundtracks of mine. There are a handful of non-game-related tunes that fit the vibe, but 99% of them are from games.
Here is a link to the playlist!
This playlist is magical for my ADHD brain when I need to get into the work groove, tune the world out, and take on a bunch of tasks. Check it out. :)
Enjoy!

Interesting! I'm not a big fan of lo-fi; my game soundtrack playlist tends to be more neo-Wagnerian. I'm a fan of Jeremy Soule's work, for example.
Are you familiar with the work of Emily Reese? She's a newscaster at MPR, and she hosts a podcast about game soundtracks. It started out as Top Score, sponsored by MPR, before she took it independent and renamed it Level. It looks like the most recent episode was posted this past spring.
Love neo-Wagnerian stuff too! Very cool. Appreciate the share.
And no, I haven't seen Emily Reese's work before, but I plan to now. :D
Thanks Laura!
