Doerfler School Teachers

The goal of this group is to extend the use of Student Achievement Partners guidance documents and materials to better align core materials to the math Shifts and standards. An additional goal is to find high-quality OER material aligned to standards that addresses unfinished learning also all students can access grade level standards and exit the grade meeting the rigor and depth expected of the standards. The team of Grade K-5 teachers, supported by district mathematics support and an outside consultant from SAP, will review, Illustrative Mathematics, EngageNY and other newly available OER material as possible resources to address unfinished learning. The team will use the IMET rubric to determine how the materials selected align to the shifts of Focus and Coherence.
