Wisconsin Act 31 American Indian Studies
Wisconsin Act 31 requires districts to incorporate the history, culture, and tribal sovereignty of the Native tribes and bands in Wisconsin into their social studies curriculum. Statute states it must be taught at least twice in elementary (defined as grades K-8) and once in high school (grades 9-12).
