These educators learned to take a place-based approach to climate education using the the Gikinoo’wizhiwe Onji Waaban (Guiding for Tomorrow) or “G-WOW” Changing Climate model, in order to use this model to adapt activities from Project WILD's Climate and Wildlife and Project WET's Climate, Water, and Resilience guides or their own activities to integrate climate education in their classrooms.
