    This resource features suggested books for Kindergarten.  Books are beautifully illustrated featuring African-Americans.  All children will enjoy building their early concepts about print and reading experiences through these wonderful stories.

    This resource was created by the African American Jewish Friendship Group (AAJFG). It is licensed CC-SA, which means that you can openly use, share and remix the resource.  Books of interest can be found on-line using a search engine and searching with the book title and/or author's name. Teachers are encouraged to check with the appropriate district personnel to inquire about funds for purchase of books of interest.
