This activity is designed for students to understand and identify the four necessary components of a tort. Included is a sample for teachers to use as an introduction. An activity is provided for students to complete in small groups. When small groups have agreed upon each element, the teacher can hold a debate for all class members to agree on whether each element is present. Additional scenarios can be provided to individual students for further analysis.
