Project Description:
Students will utilize their event planning skills in order to plan Sportainment Night or the Dodgeball Classic. Students are responsible for developing a marketing plan that includes the use of the promotional mix, writing press releases, securing sponsors, working as a team, and raising money for a local cause. Students will be evaluated based on their effort and performance prior to, the night of, and through the reflection of the event.

Plan, plan, plan… | The student rarely participated in the planning process. He/she was withdrawn during classroom discussion and neglected to help make decisions regarding the event.
