Directions:

As a class: Discuss the following:What is a budget? Who uses budgets?

In Groups of 2-3, set a budget for your “family”:

Your income is 10 Xs (you get to mark an X in 10 boxes)

You must mark something in each category.

If you would like any of your budget to go to Savings, then you do not get to use those Xs to mark.

Individually Reflection: Answer the following questions in a Google Doc. Each question should have a 2-3 sentence answer.

Write out your budget: Example:

Savings: 1 (didn’t mark on sheet)

Clothing: 3

Entertainment: 1

Etc.

In which categories did you spend the most? Least? How did you make your decisions?

What’s missing from this budget? Identify a minimum of 3 items and explain each.

Did you choose to “save” any of your Xs? Explain your decision: why or why not?

Why is it important to share/donate?
