This will be a year-long lesson that is graded quarterly. Students will follow the 5S Lean workforce model daily when working in the shop areas. 5S stands for Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and sometimes a 6th S stands for Safety. This model will help students with daily reminders on how we should maintain the shop and perform in the shop.

This is a writing lesson from Grade 6 (Unit 1, Session 4) focusing on telling a story from a narrator's point of view. As they write their narrative piece, students help readers re-imagine an episode.
Bundling is the practice of creating groups (or “bundles”) of standards that are arranged together as a focus for an instructional lesson. Teachers are able to weave together several standards within a single lesson or unit while integrating each lesson into a larger curriculum sequence. History instruction offers teachers many opportunities to bundle during query based or topic specific instruction. Examples of bundling are presented in these resources.
